A spark it seems that has set the fire glowing.

Nothing could be better attest than this Marilyn Monroe saying " Better be strong than pretty & useless".
We can see that in Rio Olympic 2016, it was female power outshining, the women overpowering men for the very first time in Rio Olympics. It feels great to see people who slaughtered million of girls in the womb is celebrating  their performance of two of its daughter. P V Sindhu and Sakshi Malik saved India from disgrace of getting no medal..
Apart from Sindhu and Sakshi , gymnasts Deepa karmakar almost  made it to a bronze, Lalita Babar made it to the finals of women's 300 m steeplechase and Sania Mirza and Rohan Bhopara made it to the tennis mixed doubles Quarterfinals. Not surprisingly almost half of India's contingent in Rio is made up of women.
All I can say that India has potential all we need is resources and opportunities, so that we can produce more daughters like PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik but one should not expect much until we put system in place, however developing sports culture means more than improving facilities. India needs to purposely make the journey from aspirations to realisation. But the question is does India have the infrastructure and facilities to produce medal winners?

I want to do it all.. I also want to do absolutely nothing!!

I am still discovering who I am, but at twenty I still have plenty of time for discovering, don’t you think?

Blogging is that passion that lit a spark on that dream of mine which made a place where I could share myself with others but sooner or later I realized that my real dream was helping others be heard by lending them a voice. Discipline is the art which I want to master. I feel myself like a Taxi Driver who is completely absurd regarding her destination yet retaining my “INNOCENCE”.
